Why Holistic Pets?

At Little Wolf Holistic Pets, I believe our animals are family, companions, and teachers. My mission is to ease pain and stress, support mobility and resilience, and help guardians feel confident in the care they give.

Dogs are at the heart of my practice, and I also welcome cats, birds, and other animal companions. Every species deserves quiet, respectful, consent-based care — and I bring that same intention to each and every one.

I offer massage, Reiki, essential-oil support, nutrition guidance, and decompression walks in Longmont and nearby communities. Every session blends evidence-informed practice with an earth-honoring perspective.

Meet Janette, RVT, CCMT, CPCN, Usui Reiki Master, AASC

I'm a Registered Veterinary Technician based in Longmont, Colorado, serving Longmont and surrounding areas. For 20+ years I've worked in veterinary care and client education. Little Wolf Holistic Pets is where my clinical background meets a holistic, heart-centered approach to animal wellness — honoring both science and spirit.

Credentials: RVT • CCMT (Certified Canine Massage Therapist) • CPCN (Certified Professional Canine Nutrition) • Usui Reiki Master • AASC (Certified Animal Aromatherapist; Level 2 Advanced Certification in progress)

Where I come from
"Little Wolf" is the name I was given years ago by a Native artist named Soaring Eagle, who meditated on my spirit and gifted me that name. He also created a piece of art mapping the animal spirits whose medicine would move through my life — a gift I carry quietly into every session.

My Celtic heritage runs equally deep. Faolán — “little wolf” in Gaelic, pronounced FWAY-lawn — is the name I carry from my own ancestral roots, and the spirit behind Faolán's Path, the human wellness side of this work.

Two wolf names. Two lineages. One north star..

I've always believed Eastern and Western medicine belong together. My approach is grounded in evidence and open to energy — Western veterinary wisdom working hand in hand with an Eastern-influenced heart.

Why I do this
I've seen how stress, pain, and fast-paced routines affect our animals. My goal is to create calm, choice-based sessions that ease tension, support mobility, and strengthen the bond between you and your pet — always in collaboration with your veterinarian. I share practical, doable tips so care continues at home long after our session ends.

How I can help

  • Animal massage therapy — comfort, mobility, and recovery for dogs, cats, and more

  • Reiki — hands-off or light touch, always consent-based and species-appropriate

  • Essential oil guidance — safe, species-appropriate support tailored to your animal

  • Nutrition support (CPCN-certified) — for raw and whole-food curious guardians

  • Decompression walks — supporting mental health and nervous system balance, not just steps

  • Complimentary energetic support — woven into sessions to deepen calm and balance

All services complement — never replace — veterinary care. Mobile visits in Longmont; a $20 out-of-area surcharge applies to Boulder County and Lyons.
